Who we are
The Responder Life was started by Mollie Tinnin and Victoria Hess in 2025. They each have a passion and drive to support the responders across the board. As active responders, both Mollie and Victoria noticed a gap in the field where individuals didn’t really have outside resources to help them better understand who is a responder, what does it mean to be a responder, how to become a responder, and different ways to improve your skills to support our communities in the field.
Mollie and Victoria met while deployed to support the response to Hurricane Laura in Louisiana during November of 2020. Since then, they have both taken different paths to continuing their development as responders and each currently work as paid professionals. The Responder Life aims to be the resources that they wish they had when they began their journeys into becoming Responders.
